Alabama Hope Academy: New to homeschool

Check covers schools located in Alabama. They must be in state of Alabama. Ask questions, concerns to find one that fits your family. They vary from only state requirements such as Alabama Hope Academy to requirements like public school. After you have found one that fits your family. Enroll.

Once enrolled with cover school, you must follow all requirements and rules of your cover school. Otherwise they can dismiss you.

We do recommend that you do not go straight out and buy a full year of curriculum to begin because homeschoolers have such a wide rage of curriculum publishers now it can be very confusing and costly. Try it before you buy it. Buy just one book or subject and if all goes well then purchase full year.

Home school is what you the parent and family wants and needs it to be. Please do not try to keep your child in public school while homeschooling. This will put alot of undue stress on you and the family.

Relax Take time to find a system that works for you. Dont worry it gets better each day. First year is always the worse because most of us were raised in public system and it takes times to change our way of thought and relax.
