About Alabama Hope Academy

We were founded in March 1997.
We have been online since April 2001.

We firmly believe in homeschool.
We do not believe in all the restrictions and requirements that most cover, church, umbrella schools put on their enrolled families.

We are very proud of Alabama state laws on homeschool, and wish to help keep them as they now are.

Which is, to homeschool, you must be enrolled with cover, church, umbrella school. Your public school superintendent must be noitified of your homeschool enrollment and of your non re enrollment or your transfer. Your cover must keep attendance record.

We are here to keep those laws without adding to them.

We realize some families may want and need requirements that is not state founded and is more like a public school system. That is fine.

We are here for those families who do not need nor want any restrictions, or requirements other than the state requires.

We are here to give homeschool families another option....Freedom!
